In the Park
We hope that you can stay with us at the Marriott Evergreen Resort at Stone Mountain Park. Both the ceremony and reception will be on-site, as well as other weekend festivities (stay tuned!) This will be an indoor-outdoor, semi-formal evening. Average temperatures in Atlanta in October range from 53-73 degrees F. Please CALL promptly to reserve your rooms. If the room block is full, please let us know (we may be able to add rooms). Saturday night will most likely sell out as there are other events taking place at the Hotel on this day. The negotiated rate for the wedding is $109 per night.

There is another hotel in the park, but it is older and not recommended (the Marriott Stone Mountain Inn). This hotel is located across the street from the Lasershow lawn and CrossRoads.
For the families who feel like roughing it, the Stone Mountain Campground is less than one mile away from the wedding venue nestled in the forest next to the lake.
Near the Park
The cheapest and most friendly lodging can be found at the Duvall Family Bed and Breakfast located very close to the venue. Seriously, there is a recession going on and the Duvall Family is more than happy to put up some guests in our own home and the homes of some close friends. Please call Mark Duvall (650-450-4030) to make reservations :-)
Just outside on the park entrance you will find these nice options: the Country Inn and Suites and the Holiday Inn Express.
Atlanta
If you are looking for a little urban action, you are more than welcome to stay downtown Atlanta. We highly recommend the hotel we stayed in on the night after our Engagement Night. The W Hotel in Midtown Atlanta. This hotel just happens to be poised next to great dining, nightlife, and the lovely Piedmont Park. It's also one of the closest downtown hotels to the wedding site (20 miles / 35 min). From this hotel you really only need to make three turns to get all the way back to Stone Mountain Park.
Other good choices include the Georgian Terrace, the Marriott Marquis, or the Westin Peachtree Plaza.
If you need any advice, please be sure to give me a call. You know how much I love to talk about travel.
